How escrow protects your trades
Escrow means the crypto being traded is held by CardCashGo for the length of the trade, so neither side can walk away with both the crypto and the payment.
The escrow flow
- Trade opens → the offer creator’s confirmed crypto is locked in escrow on both Buy and Sell offers.
- Buyer pays using the agreed method and marks the trade paid.
- The offer creator checks payment and authorises release with fresh 2FA. Marking paid never releases escrow automatically.
- Crypto is released to the buyer's CardCashGo wallet, minus the buyer's 3% trading fee.
If something goes wrong
Either side can open a dispute from the trade room. The crypto stays in escrow while staff review the chat and evidence, and then release or return it.
Frequently asked questions
Can the seller cancel after I pay?
Once you mark a trade as paid, the crypto stays in escrow. If there is disagreement, open a dispute so staff can review it.
Is escrow used on every trade?
Yes. Every P2P trade locks the offer creator’s real confirmed crypto when it opens. The trader opening the offer does not need a crypto balance to provide the agreed payment.
