AML, counter-terrorist financing and sanctions policy

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CardCashGo website and services. By creating an account or using CardCashGo you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts where you live.
  • One account per person. The information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password, recovery code, passkeys and authenticator secure, and for all activity on your account.
  • Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Identity verification

We may ask you to verify your identity. Unverified accounts have lower trading and offer limits. We may decline verification or ask for more information, and may restrict features until verification is complete.

4. Peer-to-peer trading

  • CardCashGo is a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and USDT-TRC20 on TRON who pay with gift cards and other payment methods. CardCashGo is not a party to the trade between users.
  • The offer creator funds escrow from their CardCashGo wallet. Crypto stays locked in escrow until the offer creator releases it with fresh 2FA after checking payment or an authorised admin decides a dispute.
  • Only release crypto after you have confirmed you received valid payment. Marking a trade as "paid" does not release escrow automatically.
  • All trade communication and payment details must stay inside the trade room.

5. Offers

  • Offers must be accurate, including the gift card, country, currency, price and terms.
  • Closed offers cannot be reopened or edited. Changes to offers are recorded.
  • We may hide, pause or remove offers that break these Terms.

6. Wallets, deposits and withdrawals

  • BTC, ETH and USDT-TRC20 deposits become available after 3 blockchain confirmations. USDT is supported only on TRON mainnet (TRC-20), not ERC-20 or other networks.
  • Withdrawals require fresh two-factor authentication and are subject to limits and security reviews.
  • Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. You are responsible for sending to the correct address and network.

7. Fees

Fees are listed on our Fees page and shown before you confirm any transaction. Promotions apply only for the period stated.

8. Prohibited activity

  • Fraud, stolen or already-used gift cards, stolen payment details or chargeback abuse.
  • Using someone else's identity, documents or account.
  • Money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion or other illegal activity.
  • Attempting to bypass limits, verification, escrow or security controls, or manipulating ratings.
  • Harassing other users or moving trades off the platform.

9. Disputes

If a trade goes wrong, open a dispute from the trade room. Our team reviews the evidence from both sides and decides whether escrow is released or returned. Our decision on escrowed funds is final for that trade.

10. Restrictions and account closure

We may place holds on, restrict or close accounts involved in prohibited activity or where required by law. Where possible, you will be able to withdraw your remaining balance after normal checks and fees.

11. Risks

Crypto prices can change quickly and you may lose value. CardCashGo does not give investment, tax or legal advice. Please read our Risk Disclosure.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CardCashGo is not liable for losses caused by other users, payment providers, blockchain networks, or events outside our reasonable control, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are significant, we will notify you. Continuing to use CardCashGo after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorist Financing and Sanctions Policy

A. Purpose and scope

CardCashGo seeks to prevent its platform from being used for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud, stolen funds and other unlawful financial activities. This policy applies to users, accounts, deposits, withdrawals, cryptocurrency transactions, gift-card transactions, peer-to-peer trades and other supported services.

Where permitted by applicable law, CardCashGo may use risk-based verification, transaction monitoring, blockchain analytics and account restrictions. References to potential screening tools describe measures that may be used when supported and configured; they do not represent that automated sanctions screening or blockchain risk analytics are currently operational.

B. Prohibited activities

You must not use CardCashGo to facilitate transactions that violate applicable law, including to:

  • Launder money or conceal proceeds of criminal activity.
  • Finance terrorism or other prohibited activities.
  • Evade applicable sanctions or transact on behalf of sanctioned persons or prohibited entities.
  • Use stolen cryptocurrency, stolen gift cards, stolen payment credentials or funds obtained through fraud.
  • Conceal the true source, ownership, destination or purpose of funds.
  • Use another person’s identity or submit forged, altered or misleading identity documents.
  • Use another person’s account without proper authorization.
  • Structure, split or manipulate transactions to evade verification, transaction limits or monitoring controls.
  • Use multiple accounts, false information or intermediaries to bypass platform restrictions.
  • Facilitate scams, unauthorized transactions, fraud or other unlawful financial activity.

C. Customer identification and verification

CardCashGo may require you to provide and verify the information below. Requirements may vary with transaction risk, account activity, applicable law and the services used. CardCashGo may reject incomplete, inconsistent, fraudulent or unverifiable information. Not every account has completed identity verification.

  • Full legal name and date of birth.
  • Residential address, email address and telephone number.
  • Government-issued identification and proof of address.
  • Source of funds or source of wealth information.
  • The purpose and nature of particular transactions.
  • Additional documents or explanations reasonably necessary for compliance or risk review.

D. Transaction monitoring

CardCashGo may review transactions and account activity for suspicious patterns. Potential indicators include the following; an indicator is not automatic proof of wrongdoing. This policy does not impose additional numerical thresholds or represent that every transaction is manually reviewed.

  • Unusual deposits or withdrawals, or transactions inconsistent with established account activity.
  • Repeated transactions designed to evade limits or controls, or rapid movement of funds through accounts.
  • Multiple accounts displaying suspicious connections.
  • Transactions associated with known fraud, theft, sanctions exposure or suspicious blockchain activity.
  • Attempts to bypass identity verification or account restrictions.
  • Unusual gift-card trading patterns or repeated disputed transactions.
  • Unexplained third-party funding or transfers.

E. Cryptocurrency and blockchain screening

When supported by available infrastructure, CardCashGo may use blockchain analytics and other risk-screening tools to evaluate cryptocurrency addresses and transactions. Potential categories include sanctions exposure, known stolen-fund addresses, fraud and scams, ransomware, illicit marketplaces and other high-risk blockchain activity.

Transactions may be delayed or restricted for investigation when legally permitted and technically appropriate. A risk association alone does not establish that an address or its owner is criminal. Blockchain transaction and confirmation checks are not the same as sanctions or illicit-funds screening; this policy does not represent that a blockchain analytics provider is currently integrated.

F. Sanctions compliance

CardCashGo may screen users, transactions and relevant wallet addresses against applicable sanctions requirements when appropriate screening capabilities are available. Where legally required or appropriate, CardCashGo may refuse transactions, restrict accounts or take other legally permitted measures involving sanctioned persons, entities, jurisdictions or prohibited activities.

This policy does not represent that automated sanctions screening is currently active or that a location restriction constitutes comprehensive sanctions screening.

G. Suspicious activity investigations

CardCashGo may investigate suspicious activity and request additional information or documentation. You must provide accurate information and cooperate with lawful compliance investigations.

Where permitted or required by law, CardCashGo may share relevant information with authorized regulators, law enforcement agencies, financial institutions or service providers involved in compliance. CardCashGo will not promise to notify you about reports or investigations when doing so is prohibited by law. Confidential investigation details are not disclosed to unauthorized users.

H. Account restrictions and transaction holds

Where permitted by law and consistent with applicable obligations, CardCashGo may:

  • Delay a pending transaction for review or request additional identity or source-of-funds documentation.
  • Temporarily restrict deposits, withdrawals or trading where supported, or suspend an account during investigation.
  • Reject a transaction or cancel an uncompleted transaction where permitted by applicable transaction rules.
  • Restrict or terminate access to address legal, security, fraud or compliance risks.
  • Preserve relevant records for compliance or investigation purposes.

These measures must be consistent with applicable law and legal obligations concerning customer assets. A flagged account does not authorize confiscation of customer assets. Restrictions affecting customer funds must follow applicable law, contractual terms and established internal procedures.

Account restrictions do not themselves release escrow or cancel existing trades. Completed blockchain transactions are not automatically cancelled or reversed, and broadcast transactions cannot generally be reversed by CardCashGo. A deposit restriction cannot prevent an external sender from transferring assets to an existing blockchain address. Normal withdrawal security checks remain applicable.

I. Recordkeeping and privacy

CardCashGo may retain identity-verification records, transaction information, account activity, compliance decisions and related documentation for periods required or permitted by applicable law. Compliance information is handled according to the Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.

The existing platform policy retains deleted-account identity documents privately for 365 days; this is an internal retention policy, not a representation of a universally applicable statutory period. Applicable legal retention obligations and any conflict with this schedule require review. Identity documents, source-of-funds documents and sensitive compliance notes must not be exposed to ordinary users or unauthorized staff.

Privacy Policy

J. Third-party compliance providers

CardCashGo may use appropriately selected third-party providers for identity verification, fraud prevention, blockchain analytics, sanctions screening, transaction processing and compliance support. Where applicable, their use is subject to the Privacy Policy and relevant service terms. Potential provider categories do not imply that every listed service is currently configured.

K. User responsibilities

  • Provide truthful and current account information and use accounts only as authorized.
  • Trade only with assets and gift cards you are legally entitled to use.
  • Respond to reasonable verification requests and do not circumvent platform controls.
  • Notify CardCashGo of suspected unauthorized activity involving your account.
  • Comply with applicable laws and CardCashGo’s Terms and Conditions.

L. Policy updates

CardCashGo may update this policy to reflect changes in services, security controls, risk assessments or applicable legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law and the existing Terms and Conditions.
