Account verification and trading limits
Verification helps keep the marketplace safe. Unverified accounts have a $1,000 total trading limit; verified accounts have no trading limit.
The $1,000 limit
The limit counts all your P2P trades, including open ones. Cancelled or refunded trades don't count. Both traders must have room under their limit for a trade to open.
Documents you'll need
- A photo ID: driver's license, state ID or national ID (front and back), or passport photo page.
- Proof of address.
- Your date of birth.
- Files in JPG, PNG or PDF format, up to 10 MB each.
How your documents are handled
Documents are stored privately. Only authorized reviewers can view them, through short-lived links, and every access is logged.
After review
Approved accounts get a Verified badge and no trading limit. If more information is needed, you'll be told exactly what to send.
