Gift cards for cash? Trade for crypto instead
CardCashGo does not buy gift cards directly or send cash payouts. You can exchange cards with other users for Bitcoin, Ethereum or USDT-TRC20 through P2P offers. Here is what to check before trading and how crypto escrow works.
Step 1 — Check the balance and terms
Before anything else, confirm the exact remaining balance on the card and make sure it has no expiry, no registration lock, and no in-store-only restriction. Buyers pay on verified balance, so a card you can prove is worth more than one you can't.
Step 2 — Compare P2P offers
Find offers accepting your exact card brand, country and currency. Other users set the price and limits. Compare the net BTC, ETH or USDT-TRC20 amount, applicable fees and trader reputation; CardCashGo does not promise a fixed payout percentage.
Step 3 — Create a verified account
Sign up with your name, email, phone, and a unique username. Verification protects both sides of the trade. Enable two-factor authentication while you're there.
Step 4 — Open an escrow-protected trade
Open the selected offer. The offer creator’s confirmed BTC, ETH or USDT-TRC20 is locked in escrow. You do not need a crypto balance to pay with a gift card. Share required codes, PINs, photos and receipts only in the private trade room, following the agreed terms.
Step 5 — Provide the agreed card payment
Check the card balance on the brand’s official site and provide the agreed evidence to the other trader. Mark paid only after providing payment. CardCashGo does not send gift-card payouts to Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle or a mailed check.
Step 6 — Receive crypto from escrow
After checking the card, the offer creator releases BTC, ETH or USDT-TRC20 with two-factor authentication. Completion requires 3 blockchain confirmations; marking paid never releases escrow automatically.
Mistakes that cost sellers money
- Sharing a card code in a public chat or marketplace listing before payment.
- Accepting payment from an unverified stranger with no dispute protection.
- Throwing away the receipt — it's your proof if a balance is disputed.
- Selling a partially used card without disclosing the real remaining balance.
